Kimani Purity Wanjiru

Kimani Purity is a trained Industrial Chemist whose interests are in wellness, social entrepreneurship, innovation and quite recently, technology.

She is particularly keen on creating and implementing enjoyable customer experiences through impactful initiatives and has done so in the Kenyan plastic recycling and solar-cooling space. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that developing economies can sustain themselves via developing and implementing initiatives that positively impact people and the planet while generating profit.

In January 2023, she founded Duara Foods, a food processing company aimed at diversifying the Kenyan plate through healthy flour alternatives, and is leaning in fully to the journey and its lessons! She also co-hosts the Magneticah podcast.
